Hello!

My name is Sivan (Svetlana) Buntova, I am an Israeli freelance illustrator.

I was born in 1978 in Ukraine. Since 1998 I have been living in Israel.

 

In Ukraine, I studied at the Department of Architecture at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (1995-1998).

In Israel, I graduated from the Graphic Design-Visual Communication Department of WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education in 2010. During my studies, I participated in the International Postcard Design Project of the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.

I’ve illustrated a few children’s and adult books. From 2018 to 2022,  I illustrated for the French online literary magazine Onuphrius.  Also, I've created illustrations for the National Institute for Testing & Evaluation.

I regularly participate in group art and illustration exhibitions.

I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Israel Association of Illustrators.
