About me

My name is Sivan (Svetlana) Buntova,

I'm an artist and illustrator of children’s books.

I was born in 1978 in Ukraine. Since 1998 I have been living in Israel.


I have been drawing since the of age two when my mother

put a pen in my hands.

In Ukraine, I learned painting and illustration at Kiev University of Construction and Architecture (1995-1998).

In Israel, I graduated from Wizo Academy of Design and Education,

from the faculty of Graphic Design and Illustration (2006-2010).


During studies at the Wizo Academy of Design, I worked as a graphic designer at a printing house. 

After graduating I worked as a graphic designer

at a graphic design studio.


Since 2011 I have been working as freelance illustrator and artist. 

I am a member of  Israel Association of Illustrators

and Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
