About me

Hello!

My name is Sivan (Svetlana) Buntova, I am a freelance illustrator.

I was born in 1978 in Ukraine. Since 1998 I have been living in Israel.

I have been drawing since the age of two when my mother put a pen in my hands.

In Ukraine, I studied at the Department of Architecture at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (1995-1998).

In Israel, I graduated from The Neri Bloomfield School of Design and Education (WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education) with a bachelor's degree in Graphic design and Illustration in 2010.

After graduating, I worked as a graphic designer at a graphic design studio.

I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Israel Association of Illustrators.
